Read full description of the books:
When a Bookstagram buddy posted about this book, I knew I had to have it. This was good! It warranted quite a few chuckles. So this takes place after the movie ends, as Jack is driving away with that ape looking demon (Pete) on his truck. Funny stuff.
When I was young... and, okay -- even now when I watch the movie, I want Jack to end up with Gracie. This book brings to light why he was hesitant to hook up.
The illustrations were okay; they fit the story. But the story didn't finish, so I guess I'll just have to buy the next one. Shucky darn.
I will say that I didn't think Egg Shen's character felt true to his character in the movie. He just felt off to me. Other than that little complaint, I thought it was good fun.
